Christmas 2020 - The Light has come

It’s a lovely thing to do - to commemorate on Christmas Day the birth of Jesus, come to bring us to our senses and to bring us back to a relationship with the God who keeps this planet, and the universe, going.

Christians refer to Jesus as the Light of the World - this photo shows a candle near the altar in Ely Cathedral …. a reminder that the true light, the only light that can show us the path back to God, is Jesus Himself. He is the Son of God, and lived and died, and rose, just so that all of us could have that relationship - broken because of all the wrong things we do and think.
